The parade winds through <a href=\"https:\/\/sandiegohumor.com\/best-things-to-do-in-balboa-park\/\">Balboa Park<\/a> \u2014 typically from Fifth and Laurel up to Upas, over to Sixth, and back down \u2014 with floats, Irish dancers, pipe bands, and community groups marching the route. The parade itself is free to watch from anywhere along the street.<\/p>\n<p>After the parade, the festival takes over with live Irish music, food and craft vendors, a kids&#8217; zone, and plenty of adult beverages. It&#8217;s genuinely family-friendly in the earlier hours and gets progressively more festive as the day goes on.
