It&#8217;s beautiful. It&#8217;s excessive. It&#8217;s perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every taco shop in San Diego has carne asada fries on the menu. That&#8217;s not hyperbole \u2014 literally every single one. But not all carne asada fries are created equal. The difference between great ones and mediocre ones comes down to a few things: the quality of the carne asada, the crispiness of the fries (nobody wants soggy fries drowning in sour cream), and the ratio of toppings to base. The guacamole is fresh (not that soupy stuff), the cheese melts into every layer, and the portions are genuinely absurd. One Redditor admitted: &#8220;Lolita&#8217;s carne asada fries are the taste of my teenage years.&#8221; Another simply posted &#8220;LOLITAS&#8221; twelve times in a row.
